    I camped here so my review is slightly biased (since I'm used to so much less). Paid $40 ($10 for amenities key deposit) and got a nice piece of flat land which was comfortable enough for tents and sleeping bags. The amenities here are better than the three previous hostels I stayed at and the kitchen includes very convenient extras (like a toaster and a fridge). Close to the beach and national park treks, which is always a big plus.

    This is a free camping ground, so it does the job but don't expect anything spectacular. Area has plenty of space with enough vegetation to create a natural ambiance, plus access to a small beach. The drop toilet is basic with toilet paper provided, but quite smelly. Not very enticing, probably why many campers choose to squat around the perimeter of the campsite (expect to see littered toilet paper). It's great there is a free camp site in Coles Bay, so I'd say ideal for a stopover, but if you plan on staying more than 2 nights consider paying to camp in the National Park.
